Vigilant is a series of intertwined quests all related in one way or another to Molag'Bal, with you taking the role of a champion of Stendar and fighting the daedric prince. Vigilant - A different part of TES, also Dark Souls inspired, but not nearly as much. The new enemies are really cool and fun to play against too. There are some very cool new weapons, some really useful too, a bit OP even. The mystery is pretty much removed by the end and it becomes a more straightforward dungeon. You're dropped on an island where it is obvious something happened and you get curious on what. There is no objective or (UI) journal entries, no quest markers, no dialogue, no nothing.

It's a very different quest mod, as in Dark Souls the storyline is told through environmental ques and a few ig journals here and there. It is also very different from vanilla quests and most quest mods, making it definitely refreshing. This is completely detached from TES Universe, it is not lore friendly at all. The house it gives you is, IMO, overkill.ĭarkened - Dark Souls inspired spin on Skyrim. The new town it adds looks really cool and unique, but is not very practical and you won't really visit it once you're done with the quest, and many of the cooler places it makes available for you have no purpose so you might entirely miss them. That being said, the dungeon is really good, and makes up for it. The ending quest is particularly disappointing. There's a lot of fetch quests, which gets annoying fast. Very cool new enemies, a very cool boss fight, and enough combat to make gameplay interesting. It adds a very large dungeon which is very well made. It has good voice acting, good storytelling but a poor storyline, and its pacing is rushed- it is not something you can play along other quests, you start it, you finish it, then you move on. Project AHO fits decently in skyrim's world and it is semi-lore friendly. Project AHO - It's a good quest mod, although it gets disappointing at the end. Best player house, imo: good functionality, a large place to show off your achievements and items and really cool utility, especially if you're planning to disable fast travel. It's actually a castle/palace, and its the only one that seems to really fit the player have a goddamn castle.
GOOD SKYRIM QUEST MODS MOD
The mod will give you a new house for the player. It is forced, and it is properly justified, so it doesn't feel like a bad thing. You can't stop doing the quest until you finish it, so it's not something you can do alongside other quests. It has enough combat to keep you happy, and a couple decent boss fights. The quest has a good horror spin at first, and then turns into an adventure-quest mod. The mod adds a medium-sized dungeon you'll visit once, and a big dungeon/area, about the size of blackreach which you'll visit once or twice. It has excellent voice acting, a simple but cool storyline and ok storytelling. The new content it adds feels detached from the world of skyrim, but it is well justified and still feels like it could reasonably be part of TES world. It also adds a new town, Helgen, a few new, unremarkable companions, a cool house, etc. It gives you a good amount of combat, although no special boss fights or anything. The quest makes use of existing locations/dungeons as well as adding a few new locations. You can spread it throughout your playtrhough. It's pacing is good, it doesn't feel rushed like the main quest, and allows you to play it alongside other quests, which is nice. It has really good voice acting, good story, a bit cliché, and decent storytelling. This mod fits very well alongside the vanilla storyline, it feels as if it could have been part of vanilla skyrim all along.
